Similar to an example in class, Dog API is an API that allows the user to load a random dog image, with the only parameters being the message of the image, usually the link, and the status of the image loading. This is yet another fun API, and is also free to use.

The News API is a great tool to use when needing recent news articles in a website, as it provides snippets of articles, such as the title and description, as well as a link to the official article. Other data used by this API include an article author, a source from which the article came from, as well as a URL to where the image came from. This API is free to utilize.

While the APIs covered above are fairly unique, there are hundreds, if not thousands of other APIs out there to use for a variety of purposes, with a fair amount of them being free to use, or having a limit to the amount of requests before becoming paid.
